She is survived by: her husband Brian Thompson; her father Robert E. Maier; her brother Stan Maier; and her sibling's children, Andrew, Justin, Krysti, Jennifer, Travis, Lindsey, Tyler, Jeremy, Joshua, John, Jacob, Joseph, Rebekah and Rachel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
