It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma J. Allen of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma J. Allen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Blum and Flora Blum; her siblings, Owen, Carl, Kenneth Bluml, Mary L. Dewig, Kathryn Blum, Wilma Dean, Norma Jean Hillyard and Bonnie J Gayer; and her nephew Kenneth Carl Blum.
She is survived by: her pets, Muggins, Heidi, Nikki, Zoe, Miss Kitty and Moonlight; her husband Larry Allen; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Barnett and Janet Duckworth; and her goddaughter Toni Dewig.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander North Chapel (4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Alexander Memorial Park (2200 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or Vanderburgh Humane Society.
