She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Steinmetz and Frieda Steinmetz (Walther); her husband Jack H. Gates; her son Sam; and her grandson Todd.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel, Dennis (Shelley) and Thomas Gates; her grandchildren, Kristin, Matthew, Ashley, Brittney, Jeffrey, Ryan and Jayden; her great grandchildren, Pantarah, Todd, Tyler, Porsche, Perseus, Kavun, Karley, Gage and Gunner; and her close friends, Wolfie and Foxy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family asks that you wear masks and practice social distancing.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jack Henry Gates Memorial Laundromat.
