She was predeceased by: her husband Bill G. Smith; and her brother Clarence E. Wade, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Wade, Jeffery William and Stephen Clarence Smith; and her nieces, Paula and Ali. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
