Virginia Ward Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ward of Evansville, Indiana, born in Morgantown, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Gardner and Pearl Dukes Gardner; her husband Thurston Ward; her siblings, Jewel Gardner, Margie Finch, Tom, Harold, Glen and Jimmy Gardner; and her son-in-law Mike Kitchens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Harris (Marion) of Evansville, Phyllis Hendricks (Tom) of Evansville, Donna Kitchens of Evansville and Toni Ellis of Evansville; and her sisters, Edith Wells of Evansville, Sarah Gardner of Evansville, Sue Hooper of Franklin and Doris Martin of Morgantown. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
