He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Fuchs and Dorothy Fuchs (Muntzer); his brother L. Michael Gibson; his mother-in-law Ruth K. Barnett; his sister-in-law Carla Gibson; and his nephew Gregory Gibson.

He is survived by: his wife Kim Fuchs (Barnett) of Evansville, IN; and his brothers, Gary Gibson (Jeanne) of Huntsville, AL, Jon Fuchs (Mary) of Evansville, IN and Rev. Fred Berry (Sue) of Dillon, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Michigan St., Evansville, IN 47711.
