He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Geraldine Mowery (Griffin) and Luther Joseph Mowery; and his brother Luther Joseph Mowery III. He is survived by: his siblings, Jonathan Mowery (Sandy), Star and Talitha Mowery; his niece Amy Mowery of Tennessee; his great-nephew Forrest Mowery; his great-nieces, Grace, Lillian and Olivia Dengler; his niece Beth Russell (Dexter) of Mason; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wilson, Emmaline, Clara and Davis; his niece Stacey Burns of Tega Cay; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyah and Camden Fuqua; and his friend Greg Young.
