He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie and Madie Bell Summers (Turner); and his brothers, Richard Summers, Sr. and Charles Arnold Summers. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Austin (David) and William Brian Summers (Sheila); his grandchildren, Kelly Modlin, Brandi and Brittany Pitt; and his sisters, Iris Lovan, Kay Robertson and Karen Bone. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
