He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sr. Ligon and Catherine Ligon. He is survived by: his wife Kristi Ligon; his stepchildren, Dexter Bass (Lashawnda), Omar Sherron (Patti), Chelsea Owens, Alexis Owens and Nadia Sherron; his grandchildren, Dominic Bass (Kelsey), Delicia Bass, Kaveontea Bass, Latrisha Sherron (Christopher), Josyndra Sherron and Tylin Sherron; his siblings, Diane Butler (Lawrence), Brenda Reddick (James), Katie Searcy Taylor, Linda Godwin (BJ) and Reverend Ernest Ligon (Della); his nephew Kevin Ligon (Phyllis); his father-in-law Milton Postell; and his sister-in-law Kiva Todd (Mark). He is also survived by great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel (1001 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Missionary Baptist Church - Henderson (20 S Elm St, Henderson, KY 42420). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (8136 US-41, Henderson, KY 42420).
