He is survived by: his parent Esther Hawkins (Williams); his spouse Virginia LaShure; his son Gary Hawkins (Beverley Wetherell); his daughter-in-law Laura Hawkins (Breeden); his daughter Donita Melick (Michael); his grandchildren, Jacob Hawkins (Elsa), Jessica Wilbanks, Devin Wilbanks, Tiffany Fisher, Travis Fisher and TeAria "Teri" Fisher; his siblings, Catherine "Kitty" Montgomery and Tommy Hawkins (Cindy); his sister-in-law Linda Hawkins (Burns); and his aunt Betty Lou Netzley (Williams). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, along with 3 stepdaughters.
