Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dexter Franklin (Fairmount, Indiana), born in Amburgey, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 76, on April 8, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Franklin and Nora Franklin (Mullins); his former wife Maxine Mullins; his son Brian Franklin; and his brothers, Cordis Franklin and Ivan Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Timmons Smith; his daughters, Joanne Jones (Jim) and Robin Long; his sister Marie Fields of Corbin, KY; and his stepchildren, Bonnie Watson (Greg), Howard Smith (Renee), Billie Laughman, Brandi Lenfestey (John) and Marion. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren, and 12 step great-grandchildren.
