She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Hipes and Alma Hipes (Fleener); her husband Loren N. Brookshire; her stepsiblings, James Hueston and Mary Ellen Hughes; her brothers, Lyndal and Kenneth Hipes; and her great grandchild Dakota.
She is survived by: her daughter Rachel Colvin (Mike) of Jonesboro, IN; her grandsons, Joseph Colvin (Elizabeth) of Bremen, IN and Gregory Colvin (Megan); her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Charles, Benjamin, Lincoln, Sydney Piper (Aaron), Holland, Jackson, London, Harrison, Edward, Hudson, Eden, Edison, Tariya and Crisisya; and her sister-in-law Esther Hipes of Rigdon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
