He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Bemis and Alice J. Bemis (Langer); and his brother Winford Bemis, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ina Bemis; and his children, Vickie Bayless and Charles Bemis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
