He is survived by: his significant other Rosemary S. Martin; his children, James L. "Chip" Mitchener II (Karen), Alexandria and Beth Lawing (Dane); his grandchildren, Kiley Waller (Jodi), Jared Lawing (Candice), James L. Mitchener III (Chrisilla), Murrieta and Connor Mitchener; and his great grandchildren, Skyler, Paizley, Zenley, Oliver and Emerie.
