He was predeceased by: his father William E. Liston; his grandparents, Ancil and Velma Stewart; his parents-in-law, Dwain and Evelyn Hiers; and his brother-in-law Daryl Hiers.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy O. Miller (Stewart); his wife Janet Liston (Hiers); his siblings, Keith Miller (Susan) of Fairmount, Kevin Miller (Tammy) of Fairmount, Beth Fitzjarrald of Fairmount, Dianne Loftin (Trey) and Connie Thrasher; his siblings' children, Bryce, Brenna Miller, Katie, Emma, Laura Loftin, Megan and Kelsey Fitzjarrald; and his friend Scott Sovern.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairmount Fire Department or the Madison-Grant Nutrition Service for the lunch program.
