Phillip D. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2021, at the age of 78, Phillip D. Smith (Fairmount, Indiana), born in Madison, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde W. Smith and Ruby L. Smith (Maxwell); his wife Carolyn "Sue" Persinger; his daughter Faith Smith; his brothers, Robert P. Smith and Jackie Walter Smith; and his grandson Jacob Wesley Wiggs.

He is survived by: his children, Sonji Graff (Rick), Sandy Williams (Toby), Shelley Zartman (Brent), Paul Smith and Doug Smith (Pam); his sisters, Susie Goldsberry (John), Pam Thomson (Steve), Marileen Meadows (Ray) and Elizabeth Rodney; and his friend Sandy Gates. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
