He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley Scott and Zola Marie Scott Lanham (Harrold); his stepfather Farris Lanham; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Moriarity and Raymond Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Scott (Hiatt); his children, Stephen Scott (Kristy), Dennis Eppley of Atlanta, GA, Michael Hiatt (Irene), Marion, Misty Bartholomew (Kenny Gilbert) and Lee Jay Collins; his grandchildren, Jevon Gilbert, Becca Martin (Shawn Kiewitt), Cody Martin, Kaeli Bartholomew, Kloei Bartholomew, Natalie Bartholomew, Michael Hiatt, Robert Hiatt, Tyler Collins, Alissa Collins, Levi Collins and Paris Collins; his great grandchild Braxton Kiewitt; and his siblings, Wilma Moriarity, Marion, Phyllis Hikade (Gale) and Mary Shelton of Hamilton, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
