He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel "Paul" and Anna Marie Russell (Diehl); his daughter Rhonda D. Russell-Bussard; and his siblings, Dorothy L. Gore, Cleo Paulson and Kenneth Russell.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Kingsolver; his wife Dixie Peters (Davis); his daughter Teresa McNamara (Jay); and his stepchildren, Marvin Peters and Trisha Scott (Peters). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
