With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luther Earl Wilkinson Jr. of Farmersburg, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Wilkinson and Luther Earl Wilkinson Sr.; his wife Linda Mae Holcomb Wilkinson; his brother David Wilkinson; and his great grandchild Collette Bissonette.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Hudnall, Joe Wilkinson, Gary Wilkinson, Judy Hudnall Cordle and Susie Hutchings; his sons, Luther Earl Wilkinson III (Stacey) and Chris Wilkinson (Holly); and his grandchildren, Hailey (Patrick), Ashley (Brian), Sydney, Eli, Dalton and Brylee.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home and Crematorium - Cedar Grove (600 Old Fort St, Cedar Grove, WV 25039). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home Chapel (600 Old Fort St, Cedar Grove, WV 25039). A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens (6027 E Dupont Ave, Glasgow, WV 25086).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CAMC Cancer Center, 3415 McCorkle Ave. SE, Charleston, WV 25304.
