She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Strobel and Catherine Strobel (Eberle); her husband Levinus Brockman; her son Mark Brockman; and her siblings, Dorothy Ferrando, Mary Rose Birchler, Ann Wirthwein, Frances O'Brian and Henry Stobel.
She is survived by : her children, Paul Brockman (Judy) of Ferdinand, Terry Brockman (Sandy) of Ferdinand, Steve Brockman of New Albany, Fred Brockman (Jennifer) of Jasper, Rita Cherkis (John) of Semmes, AL and Kathy Schaefer (Joe) of Bardstown, KY; her daughters-in-law, Michelle Brockman and Cindy Brockman of St. Meinrad; her siblings, Paul Strobel of Tell City and Carol Dauby of Tell City; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Darin, Grant Brockman, Matthew Brockman, Kara Cornett, Amy, Adam, J. D., Cassie Brockman, Karen Cherkis, Amanda Brockman, Brittany VanWinkle, Nathan, Audry Schaefer and Nineteen. She is also survived by Nineteen great-grandchildren.
