He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Verlin Ellis (Jack) and Louella Ellis (Tudy); and his siblings, Roy, Delbert Ellis and Joyce Steffy.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Garrison Ellis; his children, Randy Ellis and Melissa Irelan; his grandson Sammy Irelan; and his brothers, Richard (Debbie) and Charlie Ellis (Carolyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Koehler Funeral Home (304 E Main St, Boonville, IN 47601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Auxiliary Post #3418.
