With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anita Rose Ayer-Reyes of Fort Branch, Indiana, born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Farmer and Charles Farmer. She is survived by: her significant other Loren Newkirk of Ft. Branch; her children, Amanda Ayer of Evansville and Ashley Yorke (Griffin) of Henderson; her stepchildren, Krystalyn Williams (Clay) of Newburgh and Collin Newkirk of Ft. Branch; her grandchildren, Delaney Lorraine Hardin and Grayson Yorke; her stepgrandchildren, Spencer Harlen, Alice Williams and Reagan Newkirk; her niece Sarah Gamble; her nephews, C. R. Hoke and Taylor Hoke; her sister-in-law Lisa Newkirk; her niece-in-law Jamie Newkirk (Sherry Mosher); her mother-in-law Donna Williams; and her close friends, Bobbi Fromme (John), Janice Montes-Flores, Caroline Newkirk (Jim), Dan, Dawn Harrison, Narissa, Kassandra Montes, Alberto Reyes, Lexi Flores, Charlotte and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home (425 N Main St, Princeton, IN 47670). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Meade Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colvin Funeral Home in honor of the Ayer-Reyes family.
