With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Afroditi N. Milosis Skembos in Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Afroditi left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaos Milosis and Fani Kyrou Milosis; her husband Nikolaos P. Skembos; and her brothers, Kostas and Grigorio Milosis.
She is survived by: her children, Marika Short (Dean) and Konstantinos Skembos (Stella); her grandchildren, Gregory Short, Nikolina Linnemeier (Craig), Dena Short (Austin Kordes), Kaleena Schreiner (Bryan) and Alexia Skembos Sophia Skembos (Hayden Heche); her great grandchildren, Niko Wenglikowski, Savannah, Levi, Eleni Kordes and Ana Linnemeier; and her sisters, Vasiliki Rongos and Olymbia Siamos.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (110 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
