She was predeceased by: her parents, Fitch Fitch and Cora Evelyn Fitch (Bowman); her husband Donald W. Padgett; her daughter Robin Corey; and her siblings, Floyd Fitch and Joanne Dunbar.
She is survived by: her sister Laura "Kathy" James of Dayton, OH; her daughters, Andrea Carpenter (Kirk) of Indianapolis, IN, Tanya Padgett (Cornell) of Fort Wayne, IN and Thea Byrd of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandsons, Jason Corey (Megan), Evan Carpenter (Breuina), Cody Carpenter and Nickolas Wiley; her pet Mia Sophia; and her great grandchildren, Julius, Mason and Maleah. She is also survived by one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
