She is survived by: her children, Elbert Chavis of Princeton, Sondra Segura (Hardiman) of Fort Wayne, Delberta Hardiman of Princeton, Janet Dougan (Chavis) of Princeton and Melodie Chavis of Princeton; her stepsons, Delvert Kearns Chavis (Celia) of Brooklyn, NY and Shelby Roberts of Kalamazoo, MI; her daughter Yolanda Tolbert (Jones) of Fort Wayne; and her brother Fredrick Hardiman (Vickie) of Iowa. She is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews.
