He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Schanbacher and Corrinne Schanbacher (Willman); his wife Louise Schanbacher (Dopp); and his brothers, Richard, William and Albert Schanbacher.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Schanbacher (Lisa) of Leo, IN and Carla Barnhill (Paul); and his grandchildren, Ali Brand (Nick) and Mitchell Schanbacher.
