He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy L. Kruse; his parents, Ralph U. Kruse Sr. and Ruthie; his brother George Kruse; and his grandsons, Chase R. Kruse and Austin C. Buckaloo.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Cornelius (Randy) of Paris and Rick Kruse (Wendy) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Kevin Ford, Melissa Pulliam, Heather Urquart, Corey Kruse and Kasey Kruse; and his siblings, Wayne Kruse (Babs), Ralph Kruse Jr (Kathy), Sharlene Meslo (Wally) and Sharon Sampson (Gary).
