With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diana Sue Cates (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diana Sue Cates to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Eberle and Mary Eberle; her husbands, Robert E. Huggins, Edward I. Kennedy, Ed Baumgartner and James Cates Sr.; her daughter Sherren Sue Kennedy; and her brothers, William and Henry Eberle.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Kennedy (Jeni) of Delaware, OH and James Cates Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; and her daughters-in-law, Theresa Metzger (Don) of Indianapolis, IN and Karen Joy (Bill) of Fort Wayne, IN.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials donations in Diana's honor may be directed to Faith Baptist Church, or Parkview Hospice.
