He was predeceased by: his parent Richard Jefferies; his sons, Michael Jefferies and Larry Jefferies; his siblings, Sharon Miller and Eugene Jefferies; and his sister-in-law Jackie Jefferies.
He is survived by: his parent Helen Jefferies (Huffman); his wife June Jefferies (Renner) of Fort Wayne; his children, Lynda Thomas (Willie) of Fort Wayne and Gary Jefferies (Karin) of Harlan; his daughter-in-law Krista Jefferies of Fort Wayne; and his brother Robert Jefferies of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Heart to Heart Hospice.
