He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Howard; his mother Bobbie DeBruce; his children, Edward Green (Melissa), Shona Kirkpatrick (Cory), NiKeya Gilbert, Edquina Bray-Howard, Dominique Howard, Sherita Shurelds, Whitney Shurelds, Devonte Sanders and Denzel Sanders; his siblings, Gary Howard (Gilda), Derrick DeBruce (Carmen), Fredrick DeBruce (Geraldine) and Jane Thomas-Carothers; his uncles, Ronald Johnson and Sherman Hamilton (Mary); his grandchildren, Paietyn Gilbert, Miracle Shurelds, Mariah Shurelds, Nevaeh Howard, Maleiya McGraw, Khalia Sanders, Leigh Sanders, Andraias Curry, Leroy Wilson, Jerris Anderson, Edward Green, Jr. and Vernard Hunter; and his pet Webbie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extend family in East St. Louis, IL, relatives and friends.
