He is survived by: his spouse Kathleen Grannan; his children, James Widmer of Fort Wayne and Peggy Puzzello of Harlan; his son-in-law Daniel Puzzello of Harlan; his son Michael Widmer of Fort Wayne; his daughter-in-law Abby Widmer of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Jayla Puzzello, Erin Puzzello, Michael Puzzello, Mason Widmer and Joslyn Widmer; his siblings, Mary Widmer of Fort Wayne and Richard Widmer of Fort Wayne; his sister-in-law Becca Widmer of Fort Wayne; his sister Lori Bickel of Fort Wayne; his brother-in-law Mark Bickel of Fort Wayne; and his sister Martha Widmer of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
