He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Ann Fesler; his son William R. Jackson; and his sister Carolyn Scherer. He is survived by: his children, John Fesler and Michelle Linnemeier (Mark); his grandchildren, Skyler, Jade and Zachary; and his sister Gretchen Koons.

In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be made to the Allen County SPCA or Parkview Hospice.
