It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Roeger (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Hugh Shadle; her stepdaughter Kyna Spillers; her grandson Christopher Dewalls; her siblings, Alice Hetrick, Doris Cox, Phyllis Brown, Raymond, Paul, Patrick and Donald Shadle; and her sons-in-law, Lester Bird and Herbert Pollard.
She is survived by: her parent Velma Shadle (Venus); her children, Barb Bird of Fort Wayne, Betty Greider (Steve) of Fort Wayne, Linda Henkenius (Richie) of Decatur, Albert Jackson Fort (Laura) and Debbie Pollard Fort Wayne; her stepson Bryan Roeger of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Nate, Kyle, Jeremy, Wesley, Tony and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Nathan, Talyson and Hope.
