He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donald J. Bruick and Robert Bruick. He is survived by: his wife Anne Bruick (Turley); his children, Kay-Louise Creal, Tracey Creal (Derrick) and Robert G. Bruick; his granddaughters, Maya Bruick, Shelby Bruick and Makenna Bruick; his nephew Ken Bruick (Carol); and his nieces, Connie Bruick and Cheryl Callon (Bob).

He spent the last years of his life fighting Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease at the Life Care Center of Fort Wayne.
