She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Brown; her brother John V. Hammer, Sr.; and her great grandchild Marquis Hawkins, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Harris (Verdeen) of Winchester, Donna J. Hunt of Fort Wayne, Joann, Kennedy of Bluffton and Shannon J. Greene (Ernest) of Fort Wayne; and her siblings, Don Hammer (Bev) of Ohio, Erma Maxwell (Theodore) of Ohio, Pete Hammer (Maggie) of Lynn, Roger Hammer (Joyce) of Winchester and Steve Hammer of Ohio. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
