She was predeceased by: her husband Don C. Nelson; her daughter Nancy Jo Nelson; and her brothers, John Hodges (Jack) and James Hodges. She is survived by: her brother Jack; her daughters, Sheryl Nelson of Atlanta, GA, Linda Nelson Keane (Mark) of Shorewood, WI and Jody Nelson (Eric) of Fort Wayne; and her grandchildren, Sheree (Jim), Meadows, Erik (Amy), Heath Drummond (Beronica), John (Aaron), Ariel, Briana (Sean), James Keane, Chase Hartline (Jessica) and Fletcher Hartline.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Art Museum, Hope House, or Matthew 25.
