She was predeceased by: her parent Ralph Pingel; her former husband Reginald D. Cleve; her father-in-law Stanley F. Allina Sr.; and her brother-in-law Edward F. Allina. She is survived by: her parent Hallie Pingel; her husband Alfred F. Allina; her children, Emily Allina, Elizabeth Lott (Allina) and Katie Allina; her son-in-law Justin Lott; her grandchildren, Caroline Lott and Annabel Lott; her siblings, Beverly Noller (Pingel), Kenneth Pingel, Chuck Pingel, Sandy Miesner (Pingel), Lisa Rozier (Pingel), Scott Pingel and Monica Ray (Pingel); her brother-in-law Stanley Allina Jr.; and her mother-in-law Geraldine Allina.
A Memorial Service in Fort Wayne will be held in the near future (date TBD). "The family would like to thank Ilene Ransom and all of Karen's caregivers for their amazing care and compassion." Memorial donations may be made to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus, the ALS Association, and .
