He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Mary. He is survived by: his son Pinewood Derby; his wife Beverly; and his siblings, Ruth and Dennis. He is also survived by his three sons and their wives: Brad and Pamela, Brian and Vicki, and Brendan and Michele; seven grandchildren.
