He was predeceased by : his parents, George Wimes and Bernice Wimes; his grandmother Candice Bean; his sister Lisa Wimes; and his nephew Jermond Wimes.
He is survived by : his children, Lonnie Wimes, Jr., Bryshawn Terry, Devon White, Kymonty Allen, Lonisha Lawrence, London Ewing, Alexa Wimes and Alonna Daniels; and his siblings, Lora Wimes, Erica Irby, Velma Conwell (Willie) and Fredrick Wimes.
