She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dow Counterman and Arnold Patten; her brothers, Alfred Martin and Bill Martin; and her nephew Bruce Counterman.
She is survived by: her stepchild Tim Counterman (Julie); her grandchildren, Tom Patten (Lisa), Mary Dixon (Ron), Barbara Barnes (Gordon) and Sue Hicks (Tom); and her niece Joanne Martin. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, NE IN Cancer Services, or the American Heart Association.
