She is survived by: her husband J. C. Lapsley; her children, Patricia Lapsley, Cynthia Bady (Terrence), Denise Rice, Jerome Lapsley (Penelope), Sherri Lapsley and Melvin Lapsley; her siblings, Roberta Horn, Dorothy Williams, Lois Hughes, Eddie Atkins (Leticia), Willie Lee Atkins and William Atkins (Judy); her sister-in-law Bessie Lapsley (Luevina Lymon); and her grandchildren, Temunim Lapsley, LaShonda Lapsley-Martin, Jennifer Lapsley, Justin Bady, Tanisha Rice, Brandon Bady, Ricky Rice II and Alexis Lapsley. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
