It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Raymond Schwartz (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Marjory L. Schwartz and Catherine C. Schwartz; and his granddaughter Katie Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Johnson (Mark) of Costa Mesa, CA, Diane Witzenman (James) of Fort Wayne, Craig Schwartz (Marlene) of Ellettsville, IN and Gary Schwartz (Kathleen) of Indianapolis; his sister Marcella Sheets of Fort Wayne; and his stepchildren, David Schieferstein (Terri Phipps) of Richmond, VA, Rick Schieferstein of Port St and Karen Smith (Guy) of Eighty Four, PA. He is also survived by grandchildren; and four great step grandchildren.
