He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Irby and Lula D. Irby (Ruffin); his siblings, Hollis Irby, Floyd Irby, Ollie Joe Irby and Lillie Bell Redmond; and his daughter Roslyn R. Irby (Cephas Calligan).
He is survived by: his wife Ola; his children, Ronda, Robbin Irby and Eric Irby; his grandchildren, Heavyn Rochelle Irby-Sanders, Chelsea Irby, Courtney Randle, Dayshia Stevenson, Danielle Williams, Braylon and Dallas Irby; his great grandchildren, Drayson Ervin and Demi R. Williams; and his goddaughters, Donna K. Dowdell, Diana Prince and Lakisha Spencer.
