He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Heiny (Loos) and Lawrence E Heiny; his siblings, Nicholas, Joseph, Lawrence, Rosemary Bucklin, Victora Fahey and Bob; and his wife Marge.
He is survived by: his friend Marge Disser; his daughters, Linda, Marie Partridge (Lynn) and Ann Heiny-Long of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Megan Cook-Bermes (Louie), Colonel Robert Long (Sabrina), Kimberly Long Neff (Michael), Jaclyn Long Osterhaus (Anthony) of Plano, TX, Sarah Gilliland Schecht (Josh) of Honolulu, HI, Richard Gilliland of Denver, CO and John Gilliland (Milly) of Australia. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Saint Francis University, Bishop Luers High School, or to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Service.
