He was predeceased by: his parent Sylvester Leitel; his wife Francella; his siblings, Donald (Barbara) and Dorothy Niesman (Kenneth); and his wife Edward Kresl (Marcia).
He is survived by: his parent Helen Leitel (Bauer); his children, Donald, Joseph, Robert (Kristin), Jeffrey (Jenny) and Liz; his grandchildren, Heather, Rachel and Isak; and his great grandchildren, Audree Rose and Averie Rose.
Memorials donations may be given to Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
