He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hicks and Dorothy Hicks; his son Michael Causey (Mike-Mike); and his brother Carlton Hicks. He is survived by: his daughter Shaquana Martin (Cornelius); and his siblings, Betty Warfield, Chenitta Gregory (Art), Felicia Burney (John), Billy Hicks (Julia) and Harold Hicks (Mary). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and family.
