He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Wood and Ethelwynn Wood; his wife Nellie Kuceyeski; and his siblings, Margaret Wilson, Arthur and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Wood (Barbara) of Marysville, Kevin Wood of Barberton and Kimberly Lundy (Jack) of Orange Park, Florida; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wood, Jessica Costic (Christopher), Stephanie Lundy (Thomas Brooks) and Michael Lundy; and his great grandchild Thomas Walter Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walter & Nellie Wood Scholarship Fund at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School or the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, 404 E. Washington Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
