He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roberta Sue Smith and Gerald Howe. He is survived by: his parents, Robbie Alan Gillum and Geri Crabtree (Thomas); his daughter Chloe Sue Michelle Thomas; his stepfather David Crabtree; his siblings, David Ray Crabtree (Julie) and Kala Leonard (Zach); his half-sisters, Robin and Sierra Gillum; his grandparents, Linda Castle, Vernon Gillum and Larry Smith; his aunt Michelle Lawson; and his cousins, Jessie Thomas and Michael Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Derrick's name may be made to Genda Funeral Home, 608 N. Main St., Frankfort, IN 46041 to help the family defray funeral costs.
