He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Johnson and Hazel Johnson (Bowling); and his brothers, Bobby, Bill and Johnny.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Johnson (Slack); his sister Katherine "Sis" Repp; and his children, Michael Dean, Francis Eugene, Missy Johnson Turnbull, Bradley Allen, Brandon, Nathan Chrastil, Richard and Tyler Knutson.
