He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S. Howard, III and Fern Howard (Stuff); his wife Ruby Rose Howard (McGee); and his son Carl S. Howard, III. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Jean Hinton, Jon Allen Howard and Leslie Lynn Howard; and his brother Edgar Howard. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
